With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Republican incumbent Brian Curran has easily defeated his challenger, Democrat Travis Bourgeois.
Curran, the former mayor of the Village of Lynbrook, has represented the district since 2011.
With all 132 precincts reporting, Curran had 32,209 votes to Bourgeois's 23,778.
