3 Brothers Robbed Woman They Lured Into Their Home: Nassau PD
Nassau police said the three were aided by another woman who helped them attack their victim and rob her.
EAST ROCKAWAY, NY — Four Nassau residents were arrested Thursday and charged with robbing and assaulting a young woman, Nassau County police said.
According to police, at 6:50 p.m., Anthony Battaglia, 22, of Maxwell Street, East Rockaway, lured a 20-year-old woman into a home he shares with his brothers — Robert Battaglia, 21, and Brandon Battaglia, 21. Once she entered, police said the brothers — along with Kristin Milbank, 19, of Oceanside — punched and kicked her multiple times and stole her purse. The woman fled the home and called police. She suffered injuries to her arms and legs, police said, but refused medical attention.
When officers arrived, police said they arrested Anthony Battaglia and Kristen Milbank without incident. Brandon and Robert Battaglia attempted to flee and struggled with officers, police said. They were both eventually placed into custody. One officer injured his arm and shoulder during the arrest and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
