3 In Critical Condition After House Fire In Nassau County
Two females and a male suffered burns and smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital in critical condition Friday night.
ELMONT, NY — Three victims are in critical condition after a house fire in Elmont Friday night, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
The fire broke out at a home in the 400 block of Oakley Avenue just before 9:30 p.m., police said, adding that officers were forced to exit the basement immediately after arrival due to heavy smoke and heat.
Elmont Fire Department officials then arrived at the home and removed two females and a male, who suffered burns and smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
