3 Held At Gunpoint In Movie-Style Robbery In Nassau: Police
Police say the three were driving when their car was cut off and the two armed men jumped out and threatened them.

Three people were robbed at gunpoint in a movie-style robbery in West Hempstead early Thursday morning.
According to police, a 45-year-old man was driving two women, ages 38 and 41, on Sprague Avenue in West Hempstead at 12:30 a.m. when a tan Ford Escape cut in front of their car, causing them to stop.
Police say two men, both armed with handguns, got out of the Ford and approached the car. In an attempt to escape, the man put the car in reverse and backed into a fence. Then all three got out of the car and fled.

They returned to the car a short time later and found that various electronics had been stolen, police said.
The first robber was a Hispanic man, 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, clean shaven, wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black jeans and a black beanie. The second robber was also a Hispanic man, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, with a mustache, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black shoes, a black beanie and a black ski mask around his chin.
