3 Men Robbed Driver At Gunpoint On Nassau Street: Police
Police say the armed men stole his cash and drove off, but were found a short time later parked outside a McDonalds.
ELMONT, NY — Three men were arrested early Wednesday morning after police say they robbed a man in his car at gunpoint.
According to police, a 25-year-old man was sitting in his car near the intersection of Kirkman Avenue and Blossom Street in Elmont at 2:15 a.m. when a silver 2002 Jaguar drove up. Police say Deshawn Foy, 30, of Lewiston Avenue, St. Ablans, and Inmouni Gooden, 25, of Butler Boulevard, Elmont, got out of the Jaguar and opened the doors of the man's car. The two pulled out guns, police say, and demanded all of the man's money. The man gave them his cash, and police say they got back into the Jaguar — which was being driven by Michael Myrie, of the same address on Butler Boulevard — and drove off.
The police were called to the scene, and say that the Jaguar was found a short time later in the parking lot of a McDonalds on Hempstead Turnpike. All three men were arrested without incident.
