Valley Stream 24 Stands Out Through School Cents Program at Green Acres Mall

All three schools’ PTAs in Valley Stream 24 School District were recognized for their outstanding participation in the School Cents program at Green Acres Mall.

The School Cents program encourages school community members to shop at Green Acres Mall, with participating schools earning points based on dollars spent at the mall. At the conclusion of the program, schools are ranked according to the total points accumulated and receive monetary awards to support their educational programs and initiatives.

Valley Stream District 24 schools’ PTAs achieved impressive results with Brooklyn Avenue School earning first place, Robert W. Carbonaro School placing third, and William L. Buck School securing fifth place among participating schools.

Each school’s PTA received a monetary award from Green Acres Mall in recognition of its achievement. Representatives from all three schools’ PTAs attended a special awards ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of their school communities.

District 24 extends its appreciation to the students, families, staff members, and community supporters whose participation contributed to the PTAs’ success. Their continued support demonstrates the strong partnership between the schools and the wider community.
