Today, Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st A.D.) spoke with the fifth grade students of Mrs. Mary Caroll and his son’s fourth grade class taught by Mrs. Emily Tuohy at Our Lady of Peace in Lynbrook. The assemblyman spoke with the students about local government and the job he does as a legislator with the New York State Assembly.

“It was a pleasure meeting with the students at Our Lady of Peace,” said Curran. “I spoke to them about being an elected official and how what we do in Albany affects us here at home. We did some learning and had some fun at the same time. The students were very eager to learn and I truly enjoyed sharing what I do with them.”
