Class of 2016 Malverne-West Hempstead-Lynbrook College Grads

Many colleges across the country recently held their commencement ceremonies over the last few weeks.

Several local natives were among those to receive their degrees from the various colleges.

Here's a list of some Malverne-West Hempstead-Lynbrook students who graduated with the Class of 2016:

• Brendan Haugen Gaffey, of Lynbrook, graduated with a degree in theatre and dance from James Madison University on May 6.
• Caitlin Christy, of Lynbrook, received a BA degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University of Maryland on May 21.
• Brianne Ernst, of West Hempstead, received a BA degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University of Maryland on May 21.
• Casey Gannon, of Lynbrook, received a BBA degree in Business Administration from Loyola University of Maryland on May 21.
• Michael Intrabartola, of Malverne, received a BA degree in Global Studies from Loyola University of Maryland on May 21.
• Kevin Mastro, of Malverne, received a BBA degree in Business Administration from Loyola University of Maryland on May 21.
• Kacey Carter, of Lynbrook, received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Marist College on May 20.
• Danielle Dake, of Lynbrook, received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Marist College on May 20.
• Marykate Hayes, of Lynbrook, received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Marist College on May 20.
• Scott Heinrich, of Lynbrook, received a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies - Interactive Media and Game Design from Marist College on May 20.
• Ryan Pane, of Malverne, received a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies - Film and Television from Marist College on May 20.
• Marion Schwaner, of Lynbrook, received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Marist College on May 20.
• Michael Mugan, of West Hempstead, received a Master's in Public Administration from Marist College on May 20.
