Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st AD) recently visited Our Lady of Peace Elementary School in Lynbrook to give Ms. Christine Fitzgerald’s fourth grade students a lesson about state government. Curran and the 29 students discussed government and the role it plays in our communities.
“I like speaking with students about our state government and the role that it plays because it is something that belongs to everyone and it is an important element in our day-to-day lives. When I visit a school like Our Lady of Peace, I am always asked very good questions. It is encouraging to see how insightful our children are,” said Curran. “The kids I spoke with were excited for our discussion and their teachers and parents all should be very proud.”
