“Continuing this tradition is something that has become very important to me,” said Curran. “Keeping our West Hempstead parks clean and preserved is important so that the entire community can enjoy their beauty. Our parks are such beautiful resources for our community and it’s up to us to make sure they remain clean.”

“There is no better example of neighborhood spirit than when a group of residents gather together and volunteer their time to better their community,” said County Executive Mangano. “Working together they will make an immediate impact on this beautiful preserve and foster a sense of community pride.”
