Det. Steven McDonald, Malverne Mayor's Husband, Suffers Heart Attack

New York Police Department Det. Steven McDonald has reportedly suffered a heart attack, sources report.
McDonald has been paralyzed from the neck down since he was shot in the spine while on the job in Central Park.
His wife, Patti Ann McDonald, is the mayor of the Village of Malverne.

According to PIX 11, the NYPD confirmed that McDonald suffered a heart attack and was brought to a Nassau hospital. His condition is unknown, but the Malverne/West Hempstead Herald reports that he is alive.
