Dog On Leash Swiped From Home; Man Drives Away: Nassau Police

The Pomeranian mix was secured outside of a Lakeview home on Dec. 24 when the incident took place, police say.

LAKEVIEW, NY — A unknown man approached a dog on a leash outside a home in Lakeview, grabbed the pet, placed it in his black BMW and took off north on Woodfield Road, police said.

It took place at approximately 1 p.m. on Dec. 24.

The owner called police when he was unable to locate his Pomeranian mix.
