Duo Stole Multiple Cars Across Nassau County: Police
Police say the two were found inside a stolen car, and an investigation found they had stolen many others.

Nassau County police arrested two men over the weekend who they say are responsible for stealing multiple cars across the county.
According to police, officers responded to a call for a stolen car and saw Rohed Naeem, 24, and Othello Mallay, 23, inside a car matching the description of the stolen car in front of a home on Covert Avenue in Elmont. Police placed the two under arrest without incident, and police say it was determined that the car was stolen, and that the two had other stolen property on them.
Police say that an investigation by detectives determined that the two were responsible for multiple stolen cars and thefts from cars.

Naeem is charged with second-degree grand larceny, four counts of third-degree grand larceny and two counts of petty larceny. Mallay is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and fourth-degree grand larceny. Both were arraigned on Sunday in First District Court in Hemsptead.
