Long Island Center of Photography to Exhibit Members’ Photos

The Long Island Center of Photography (LICP) will be exhibiting members’ photographs based on the theme of “Community” in a group showat the Hewlett- Woodmere Public Library.

By definition, “Community” could mean a geographic location, such as a person’s neighborhood, or it could be a group of people with a shared emotional connection, be it ethnic, religious or social. The members are asked to submit photographs based on that definition. Stemming from the different points of view, the exhibit itself will be an example of what has come out of our very own photographic community.

In keeping with the theme of the exhibit, Long Island Center of Photography has reached out to the students of the G.W. Hewlett High School with a special invitation to join them in showing their photographic work.

An artists' reception will be held on Feb. 5 from 2-4 p.m.
