Flowers by Freyhammer Ready for a 'Crazy' Tuesday

Valentine's Day is like the Super Bowl for florists, but in Lynbrook said they are prepared for the inevitable last-minute rush Tuesday.

The Lynbrook florist has a wide range of items this year. Roses are the obvious favorite among customers, taking up about 75 percent of the total flowers ordered, according to staff.

Vase arrangements at Freyhammer start at $40 and rose arrangements from $60. They also have a wide range of stuffed animals, starting at $12.99. Larger stuffed bears are $20 and up. 

Customers were seen placing orders Monday afternoon for Tuesday pickup, but Freyhammer staff said that it is okay to go in Tuesday for a last-minute pickup. The store is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
