Four Teens Injured After Being Struck By Car
The teens had just gotten out of school when an out of control car left the road and hit them. Two were seriously injured.

Two teens were severely injured Wednesday afternoon after an out of control car careened off the road and hit them and two others.
The students were standing at the intersection of Dutch Broadway and Elmont Road in Elmont, outside of the Elmont Memorial Junior-Senior High School, when an accident occurred at the intersection, police say. One of the cars struck a tree and then a pole, then hit the four students and overturned, according to Newsday.
The four teens, three girls and a boy, were sophomores at the school. One was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, and the other was taken by ambulance, News 12 reported. The other two received non-life-threatening injuries.
