FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — A cigar shop in Franklin Square was robbed over the weekend. Police said an unknown man entered the Franklin Avenue store on Saturday morning.

The man displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk, police said.

He was given money from the cash registers and then fled on foot southbound on Franklin Avenue.
