Gunpoint Gas Station Robbery In Nassau: Police
It happened just after 8:30 p.m. at the BP on Hempstead Turnpike, police said.

FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — A man is on the loose following a gas station robbery in Franklin Square.
The man approached the clerk at the BP on Hempstead Turnpike just after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He pointed a black gun at the victim and demanded money from the cash register, police said.
The clerk complied and the suspect fled northbound on Goldenrod Street with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
