Lynbrook Fire Department Honored For Saving Lives
The firefighters were recognized by Hempstead Town at the annual Firematic Service Awards.
From The Town of Hempstead:Town of Hempstead Supervisor Laura Gillen honored Lynbrook Fire Department officers Alex Mertz, Cathy Bein, John Donald, Kacie Curran, Kaitlin Curran and Shannon Tracey for their outstanding work to the community at the Firematic Service Awards Ceremony at Town Hall on November 29.
The fire fighters quickly assessed an emergency situation and a residence and worked in conjunction with the Lybrook Police Department and Northwell Health EMTs to successfully treat and transport a victim from their home to the hospital.
