Lynbrook Students Bring Home Journalistic Gold

For the second consecutive year, Lynbrook High School’s student newspaper, Horizon, received a Gold Award for Best All-Around Publication in the Empire State Scholastic Press Association awards program. Horizon staff members and contributors also won a total of 27 individual honors, including three gold, nine silver, six bronze and nine honorable mention awards.

Hosted by Syracuse University, the ESSPA awards program gives students across the state a chance to compete and showcase their talents through their school publications.
