LYNBROOK, NY — Chorus members from Lynbrook High School recently shared their talents to thank essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although apart during this time, the chorus students performed a rendition of “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King by recording themselves singing at home. The video recordings were pieced together by Lynbrook High School music teacher Timothy Waldvogel, with the help of music teacher Barry Wyner, to create a video tribute to those on the front lines.

The teachers also encouraged Lynbrook students to submit videos of themselves holding up thank you signs and messages of appreciation for essential workers which were featured throughout the heartwarming video.
