Making The Grade: Many Nassau Residents Are Dean's List Honorees

Check out some of the college students who are shining in the classroom.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Patch is proud to showcase academic standouts who call Nassau County home!

Ally Seman-Goldsmith, Bellmore, was named to the Dean's List at Tufts University. She is a junior.

Freshmen Joey Marmo, Levittown, Jason Miller of Lynbrook and Wantagh's Haley Leimbach are also part of the Tufts University Dean's List.

Mineola High School senior Cathreen Paul has been selected as a National Honor Society Scholarship semifinalist.

Six students from Lynbrook High School will compete in the Virtual Enterprises National Business Plan Competition next month. The students listed below will compete and attend the Youth Business Summit.

Widener University in Chester, PA named Karoline Ryf of Lynbrook to the Dean's List.

At SUNY Delhi, among the locals making the Dean's List include:

  • Eric Rosen, East Meadow
  • Toni Parikas, Levittown
  • Matthew Corominas, Seaford
  • Joseph Tullo, Inwood

Three local students earned their white coats on Feb. 9 from New York Tech Doctor of Physical Therapy.

  • Kyle Lynam, North Bellmore
  • Giacomo Lacorte, Merrick
  • James Finnegan, West Hempstead

The white coat is a symbolic gesture, welcoming students into the profession as they begin their clinical rotations.

Andrew Sferratore and Morgan Tesser, both of Merrick, were named to the Dean's List at Bryant University in Rhode Island.
