Malverne Schools Opening Registration For Saturday Pre-K

The Malverne Union Free School District is opening registration soon for a Saturday morning program for preschool children with a focus on language improvement, cognitive growth and social development.

Instructed by certified elementary teachers, children who are 3 or 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2019 and who are toilet trained are eligible to participate in the program. The program is free for interested Malverne School District residents and will be held at the Maurice W. Downing Primary School, 55 Lindner Place, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26 and Nov. 2, 9, and 16.

Registration for the program will take place in the main lobby of the Maurice W. Downing Primary School on Saturday, Sept. 14, and Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon; and on Monday, Sept. 23, and Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m.

In order to register, you must bring the following documents: driver’s license, mortgage papers/deed (lease agreement with notarized affidavit, if you rent), current utility bill, school tax receipt, updated immunization papers and the child’s original birth certificate. The program is free for Malverne School District residents.
