Malverne Student Named To National Honor Choir

MALVERNE, NY — A Malverne High School student is getting a rare recognition.

Sophomore Michael Lawless was chosen as a bass vocalist with the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choir.

Lawless is among 4,000 students who applied and one of only 300 invited to perform in the annual showcase.

This marks the second time in history that a Malverne student joins the elite concert.

Lawless, and the others, will perform at the ACDA National Conference in February in Cincinnati.
