From The Malverne Union Free District: The Malverne Union Free School District congratulates Malverne High School seniors Nelson Chow and Monique Rampersaud who have been named Commended Students in the 2019 National Merit Program.
Commended students place among the top 50,000 scorers of the 1.6 million students who entered by taking the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). They are among the top 3 percent, representing only 34,000 nationwide who are recognized with this honor.
