Man Dies In Overnight Crash: Nassau County Police
A 41-year-old died and a 26-year-old suffered minor injuries after the crash, police said.
WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY — A 41-year-old man died after an overnight crash in West Hempstead, according to police.
The incident occurred at 3:40 a.m. Sunday when the man was driving south on Nassau Boulevard near Harless Place and his 2015 Hyundai Elantra crossed into the northbound lane, police said.
The Elantra collided with a 2019 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 26-year-old man, according to police. The 41-year-old was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased and the 26-year-old suffered minor injuries, police said.
