Southern State Stabbing Victim Dies
BREAKING: Police have identified the man, who was stabbed multiple times and left on an entrance ramp to the Southern State.

UPDATE: Police have identified Sumeet Singh, 21, of Wyngate Drive East in Franklin Square, as the victim in the stabbing. Police reported Tuesday afternoon that Singh had died as a result of his wounds.
UPDATE: State Police have arrested Camari Hurley, 23, of Franklin Square, and charged him with second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault.

ORIGINAL STORY: New York State Police are investigating an attempted murder after a man was found stabbed on a Southern State Parkway entrance ramp in North Valley Stream Wednesday night.
According to police, on Wednesday at approximately 9:20 p.m., a 21-year-old man was found on the Southern State Parkway Corona Avenue (exit 15) westbound entrance ramp with multiple stab wounds. The man was transported to Nassau University Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition.

Police already have one suspect in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
