Man Robbs Nassau Chinese Restaurant At Gunpoint

Police say a man robbed a Chinese restaurant in Elmont at gunpoint Wednesday night.

According to detectives, at 10:30 p.m., a man armed with a hand gun entered the Wok and Grill, located at 739A Elmont Rd., approached the employee behind the counter and demanded he open the cash register. The employee complied and gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The man fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means.

The robber was wearing dark clothing, a dark mask and gloves, as is medium height with a stocky build. No further description is available.
