Man Stuffed Girlfriend In Car Trunk, Held Her Hostage For Hours: Police
BREAKING: Police say he drove her to his apartment in Brooklyn, taped her mouth shut, and held her there for hours.

A Brooklyn man kidnapped his girlfriend from her home in Elmont and held her hostage at his apartment for hours, police say.
According to Nassau police, Arturo Gurley, 20, of Navy Walk, met his 19-year-old girlfriend at a location in Elmont on June 7 at 12:30 a.m. Police say Gurly convinced his girlfriend to get out of her car, and then he took her cell phone and keys, pushed her into the trunk and closed it. Then, police say, he drove for 45 minutes with her in the trunk.
When they stopped, police say Gurley let his girlfriend out of the car, which is when she realized they were in Brooklyn. He led her into his apartment, police say, put a sock in her mouth and then duct tapped her mouth shut. Police say the girlfriend was in the apartment for four or five hours before she was released, unharmed. She drove home and called the police.
