Man Tried To Lure Nassau Girl Into His Car With Cash
The girl ran away and called police, who are now seeking the public's help to identify the man.
A man tried to lure a teenage girl into his car as she walked to school on Wednesday in Franklin Square, and now Nassau Police are seeking the public's help to find him.
According to police, a 14-year-old girl was walking to school on Center Drive at 7:20 a.m. when she was approached by a man driving an older model Toyota Corolla. The man showed the girl money and tried to lure her into his car. The girl fled the scene and the police were notified.
The man was black, in his mid 30s, about 180 pounds, with a dark complexion, dark hair and braids. He drove off east on Center Drive.
