Motorcyclist Killed in West Hempstead Crash
The accident occurred early Wednesday morning.

WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY - A motorcyclist was killed in an accident in West Hempstead early Wednesday morning, according to Nassau Police.
Shortly after midnight, a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle, driven by 22-year-old Christopher Louros, was traveling westbound on Hempstead Turnpike and Morton Avenue when a Mercedes Benz, also heading westbound, made a U-turn and crashed into the motorcycle, police said.
The 45-year-old driver of the Mercedes then hit an unoccupied parked 2005 Honda Pilot, police said.

A Nassau County Police ambulance transported Louros to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:38 a.m., police said. No other injuries were reported.
Detectives report no apparent criminality. The motorcycle and Mercedes were impounded for brake and safety checks.
