Nassau Liquor Store Robbed at Knifepoint
BREAKING: The masked robber fled on a silver bicycle Monday afternoon, police say.

WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY – A Nassau County liquor store was robbed at knifepoint on Monday afternoon, police said.
According to Nassau Police, a man armed with a knife entered SK Liquor and Wine located at 500 Hempstead Turnpike at 4:25 p.m. He then approached the clerk and demanded money.
The clerk complied and the robber led the scene on a silver bicycle toward Nassau Boulevard with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was described as white, 25-30 years-old, with short hair. He was wearing a ski mask over his face, purple T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
