Nassau Man Stabbed His Roommate With Steak Knife: Cops
An argument turned violent Tuesday night, police say.

UNIONDALE, NY – A 23-year-old man was arrested after he stabbed his roommate with a steak knife Tuesday night, Nassau Police said.
According to detectives, Yorlin Solorzano, of 214 Lawrence St. in Uniondale, stabbed his roommate in the chest during a verbal argument at about 8:40 a.m.
A Nassau County Police ambulance transported the victim, who police did not name, to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Solorzano is charged with second degree assault and fourth degree possession of a dangerous weapon. He will be arraigned on Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
