Nassau Man Was Exposing Himself On The Street: Police

Police say he was exposing himself to the patrons of a store when he was arrested.

A West Hempstead man was arrested Sunday afternoon after police say he was exposing himself to people on the street.

According to police, officers responded to a store at 200 Hempstead turnpike just before 1 p.m. for a man exposing and touching himself in front of the patrons of the store. Officers found Heriberto Colon, 38, of Henry Street, and arrested him without incident.

Colon is charged with public lewdness and was released on an appearance ticket. He is due back in First District Court in Hempstead on Dec. 10.
