A Lynbrook woman died today from injuries she sustained when she was hit by a car in September. Police say that Helen Skelos, 60, died as a result of the Sept. 13 collision.According to police, Skelos was crossing Mineola Boulevard at 2nd Street in Mineola at 10:16 a.m. when she was hit by a 2004 Dodge Ram, which was making a left turn. The driver remained at the scene. The collision left Skelos in critical condition. Police never charged the driver.
