Alright guys get ready for summer walking with these great new sandals by Oofos. With all the great vacations planned, field trips to the local park, theme park, or various NYC walkathons, your feet are going to hurt. They are going to hurt bad. Every year I research shoes, I spend lots of money, and in the end I am deeply disappointed. Ever since I had my son, my feet have turned into a mess. I had gestational diabetes,
and it really affected my feet and they just have never gone back to their sturdy selves since. Well with a two year old running around, I can't have an excuse, and I want to keep up. Cue Oofos shoes! I found these via twitter and asked for a sample to review which they were awesome enough to provide. The minute I put them on, I actually said "I think my feet feel better wearing these shoes than without" - kind of an amazing first reaction. Well since then we have been on countless trips to the city, the park, long walks off a short pier (ok that one was a joke) and I have not had one blister, one sore foot, or one complaint- and I am super picky. These shoes have great support and feel more like a cushion between me and the cement or any other terrain.
They have the same sort of look as many other brands out there, but I have tried those brands, and some of them are great, but Oofos kinda kicked their butt. It has something to do with their "revolutionary" material exclusive to Oofos, called, wait for it, OOfoam- love it. This energy absorbing patented foot bed is what is the game changer,and I am so happy that they seem to have it all figured out! I do not experience any aches and pains while doing our 20 block or more adventures in NYC with my son that I would usually feel with my other sandals. Since wearing these shoes I really haven't had one experience saying "Oy, my feet are killing me" and that's kinda a big part of vocabulary.
