Police: Man Pulls Gun on FedEx Driver Who Blocked His Elmont Driveway

Man arrested following incident Thursday afternoon, police say.

When an Elmont man returned home on Thursday afternoon and saw a FedEx truck blocking his driveway, he became angry that he couldn’t park in his driveway, according to Nassau police.

Police say Carlo T. Sicat, 59, then went into his Atherton Avenue home and grabbed a black handgun. When he got back outside, while engaging in a verbal argument with the FedEx driver, Sicat pointed the gun at the driver, police said.

Fourth Precinct officers responded to the scene, where they recovered the weapon and placed Sicat under arrest without incident, police said. No injuries were reported.
