UPDATE: Power Outage Fixed in West Hempstead
More than 100 people reportedly in the dark early Tuesday morning.

Hundreds of people were in the dark early Tuesday morning as a blizzard whipped through Long Island.
According to PSEG Long Island’s outage map, 132 people were in the dark in West Hempstead as of 1:32 a.m. Tuesday.
PSEG had repaired the outage earlier than expected Tuesday, according to the map.

In nearby Franklin Square, another 536 residents were affected by an outage, which was also repaired, according to PSEG.
Less than 50 residents reported outages in communities across Long Island early Tuesday.
