Readers' Choice Winner: Metro Restaurant

We've asked Lynbrook who has the best pancakes in town, and the readers have spoken.

This one wasn't even close - has won the title of the best place for pancakes in Lynbrook in a dominating fashion, taking comes in second place with 14 percent.

, located at 245 Merrick Rd., is a diner which offers a variety of entrees on its continental menu, including Philly cheese steaks, tuna melts, triple-decker sandwiches, burgers, salads, breakfast favorites and wraps.  It also features savory dishes with seafood, veal and steaks.

Patch user Mary Norton gives praise in a review: "Best neighborhood restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great food, always fresh. Great service always accommodating."
