MALVERNE, NY — In honor of Juneteenth, the Malverne Union Free School District is planning a jubilee for the federal holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. The celebration is scheduled for June 17 from 3:30-7 p.m. at the Malverne High School field. The party includes vendors and food trucks. A live DJ will provide entertainment and local performers will take the stage, including the Malverne Harmony Chorus.

The Lynbrook Kiwanis Club invites the community to join us for a special Breast Cancer Awareness Tea Party on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lynbrook Public Library.
Come enjoy an afternoon of education, fellowship, refreshments, raffles, activities, networking, and community resources while supporting an important cause.
A special highlight of the afternoon will be a Breast Health Workshop presented by the Maurer Foundation, providing valuable information about breast health, early detection, and awareness.
Local community partners will also be available to share information and resources with attendees.
Tickets are $20 per person.
