MALVERNE-WEST HEMPSTEAD-LYNBROOK, NY - From Malverne Union Free School District: Fifth-grade students at Davison Avenue Intermediate School in the Malverne Union Free School District were visited by New York State Sen. Todd Kaminsky.
He discussed civics, as well as the parts of government within the state (executive, legislative and judicial), how they function and how it can affect the people who live here. At the end of the session, Kaminsky answered questions from the students, such as “How to improve our parks” and “How public services are
funded and provided for in NYS?”
