Submissions Sought For Malverne Annual Art Walk

MALVERNE, NY — The 6th Annual Art Walk is still months away, but the Malverne Chamber of Commerce is looking for artists or photographers to submit their work.

To be eligible, you either need to live in Malverne or on Long Island.

Winning pieces will be displayed at shops for two weeks and they can be sold.

Last year, more than 130 pieces appeared in over three dozen Malverne shops. Additionally, 20 percent of the items were sold.

While the exact is to be determined, it is scheduled to take place in June.

Submissions must be received by March 31.

There is a fee of $30 for the first entries, while full-time students pay $15.
