So you live in New York and have never been to the Central Park Zoo? Well, you are missing out on some of the best bird and bear watching in one of the best attractions in Manhattan.
There is something to see for everyone ranging from a huge polar bear-yes a polar bear in central park- to tiny dime-sized poison dart frogs. Everywhere you look in the exhibits has something walking below or flying above you. Platforms are set up in many of the exhibits so you can view the animals from different levels of their habitats. General Admission tickets include entry to the Main Zoo and Tisch Children's Zoo are just $12 for adults and $7 for children.
Total Experience tickets include an entry to the Main Zoo, Tisch Children's Zoo, and an admission to the 4-D Theater (along with gate re-entry). Tickets are $18 for adults and $13 for ages 3-12.
The Zoo is open 365 days a year.
