"Time" for her first leading role

Maggie Lynch, a Lynbrook resident and junior at Sacred Heart Academy (SHA), will star as Cogsworth in the school’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. In addition to her roles in the SHA theatre productions of Annie (2015) and Oliver (2016), Maggie has performed in Beauty and the Beast and Godspell at St. Raymond’s, where she has also been a member of the parish folk group for the past 5 years. Maggie is an active member of the SHA community with participation in the Key Club and Italian Club. She continues to share her artistic talents in SHA’s instrumental band and the singing group SHAcapella. Maggie maintains a rigorous academic schedule which, this year, includes AP Language and Composition as well as honors classes in Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Art III, Italian and Physics.

Maggie is excited to have her first leading role and says, “I love spending time with my friends while singing and acting. My friendships at Sacred Heart will last a lifetime!”

Maggie Lynch ’18 and Hannah Rasheed ’19 will play the role of Cogsworth on alternate dates.
