Town Of Hempstead Honors Lynbrook Police Officer

Town of Hempstead Supervisor Laura Gillen honored Lynbrook Police Officer Jon Stawinski for his outstanding work at the Police Service Awards Ceremony at Town Hall on Nov. 14.

Stawinski was singled out by his department for his hard-work and dedication to protecting the residents of Lynbrook. Specifically, Officer Stawinsky was cited for his work subduing and arresting a man for menacing and harassment of a woman in March of this year. Stawinski discovered that there was an open felony warrant from the NYPD for the man as well.
