Trio Stole Car, Cash At Gunpoint In Nassau: Police

Police are looking for three young men who they say stole another person's car and cash at gunpoint.

A group of teens robbed two men and stole their car at gunpoint in Lakeview over the weekend, Nassau Police said.

According to police, two men were parking a 2020 Mercedes Benz C300 in a Town of Hempstead lot on Woodfield Road at 4:40 p.m. when they saw three other men get out of a white four-door Mercedes Benz. The three men approached the victims' car and began banging on the windows.

One of the men pointed a handgun at the driver and demanded both men get out of the car. The victims gave the robbers their cash, and then the three robbers got into their car and drove off north on Woodfield Road. The other car, which was occupied by two or three other men, also fled in the same direction.
