Two Arrested on Prostitution Charges at West Hempstead Motel
Incidents occurred within 20 minutes of each other.
Prostitution arrests continue in West Hempstead as two women were arrested after allegedly offering sex acts to undercover police officers at a West Hempstead motel Thursday night.
According to Nassau County detectives, on March 21 at 9:53 p.m. while in a local motel, Melissa Matthews, 20, of Hempstead, offered to engage in sexual relations with an undercover detective for an agreed upon amount of money.
At 10:15 p.m., while at the same motel, Pandora Patton-Mathews, 29, of Baton Rouge, La., also offered to engage in sexual relations with an undercover detective for an agreed upon amount of money.

Both defendants are being charged with prostitution and were arraigned on Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
