West Hempstead Man Arrested For Fatal Brooklyn Stabbing
BREAKING: Police say the incident started with a fight at a barbecue, and then escalated.
Police arrested a West Hempstead man at his home on Sunday and charged him with the fatal stabbing of a Brooklyn man at a barbecue in Canarsie on Saturday.
According to the New York Daily News, Merciful Johnson, 31, a recent parolee from the Nassau County jail, stabbed Ean Bethea-Windsor in the neck after a fight at a party in front of the Breukelen Houses on E. 105 St., near Flatlands Ave., in Canarsie.
Multiple witnesses at the party identified Johnson as the attacker, and police arrested him Sunday.
