The Islanders, NYCFC or Amazon: what do you want to see on the site?
The bids are in, and now the state is going to decide the future of Belmont Park with a new building on the site.
The Islanders have officially submitted a bid to build a new stadium for the team on the site. But, sources say that New York City's soccer team, NYCFC, has also submitted a bid to build a stadium on the site.
In addition, Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano offered the site as a possible location for Amazon to build its second headquarters, if the company were to choose to locate in Nassau County.
