William L. Buck School Hosts Engaging Career Day

Students Hear From Professionals in a Variety of Fields, Including Law, Computer Programming and Cosmetic Engineering

William L. Buck Elementary School hosted its annual Career Day, during which parents, guardians, staff, and family members shared their unique career paths and life experiences with students.

“Our students were inspired by a wide range of professions, including law, computer programming, finance, nursing, and cosmetic engineering. Each speaker brought a unique perspective and left a lasting impression on our young learners,” said William L. Buck School principal Michael DeBlasio. “We are truly grateful to everyone who contributed to making Career Day such a meaningful and motivational experience for our students.”

The event, now a cherished tradition at William L. Buck School, offered far more than typical career presentations. Speakers from a diverse range of fields—including law, computer programming, finance, nursing, and cosmetic engineering—provided students with meaningful insights into their professions. More importantly, they shared personal stories, educational journeys, and moments of perseverance that shaped their paths to success.
